Located in Okinawa, Higa Distillery strives to bring awamori closer to younger consumers and attract a wider audience. In addition to innovating in bottle design and label aesthetics, they continuously pursue new flavor experiments and breakthroughs.
ZANPA Shikuwasa Liqueur is made using locally grown Okinawan shikuwasa citrus. By utilizing its peel and the distillery’s proprietary extraction technique, aromatic distilled essence is created and blended with awamori.
The result is a perfect harmony between the distinctive citrus aroma of shikuwasa and the character of awamori. Refreshing and smooth, it can be enjoyed with soda water or over ice, and also serves as an excellent base for cocktails.
