A young, unaged Grappa, distilled from fresh Vespaiolo white grapes, this wine boasts a full, exuberant aroma and a light, smooth palate, making it a Grappa of perfume quality. The handcrafted glass bottle, inspired by a still, is meticulously designed with copper wire wrapping, showcasing its exceptional elegance.
Vespaiolo is a native Italian white grape variety from the Breganze region. Its name comes from "Vespa," giving the grapes a distinctive floral aroma that often attracts bees during harvest.
POLI Amorosa di Settembre, released in 1983, is one of the few Grappas distilled by POLI using the pomace of white grape varieties. Unlike most red grape pomace that is already fermented and ready for distillation upon arrival at POLI, Vespaiolo white grape pomace must be fermented by POLI itself before Grappa production. Through years of experience, POLI achieves optimal fermentation conditions through manual, non-continuous distillation, followed by aging in stainless steel tanks for at least 12 months before bottling. This results in Amorosa di Settembre, a remarkably elegant and delicate wine that is particularly popular with younger generations and female consumers. Aroma Notes: Fresh almonds, green apples, pears
