High Coast Single Malt Whisky

Founded in 2010 in Sweden, the distillery rose from a boutique operation to an international star in the world of single malt whisky, driven by its exceptional natural environment and uncompromising craftsmanship.

Originally known as BOX Swedish Single Malt Whisky, the distillery produced a remarkable number of highly sought‑after limited editions within its first decade—bottlings that quickly became prized by collectors. To prevent confusion with similarly named brands, the distillery officially adopted the name High Coast Distillery in July 2018, with its Chinese brand name updated accordingly to 「瑞典 高岸 單一麥芽威士忌酒廠」.

High Coast has never been a distillery content with convention. They use Pilsner malt, accepting lower yields in exchange for a richer, more elegant spirit. It experiments with casks of varying toast levels, believing that any influence capable of elevating whisky is worth exploring. It matures whisky in diverse oak species, allowing each wood type to impart its own depth and character. It embraces casks seasoned with different spirits, confident that greatness is never limited to a single cask style.
