Hot Malt Co., Ltd was founded in April 2008 by Mr. Chia-Hsin Liao (also known as Richard Liao). He has been working in the spirit industry for over two decades, dedicating his career to selecting and importing the best quality spirit to all whisky lovers in Taiwan. For the past ten years, Hot Malt with its rich whisky selection experience, it has become an industry leader in promoting whisky tasting culture, specifically of single malts. Furthermore, it has also created a community of whisky enthusiasts and professionals all dedicated to bettering the alcohol tasting culture here in Taiwan. Richard was also one of the founders of the first single malt tasting club. The company’s goal is to bring the whisky tasting culture into everyday life by educating people on the knowledge of whisky and creating a movement that is unique on its own.
