Ardnamurchan Maclean’s Nose Blended Scotch Whisky 46%

2023 marks an important milestone: the 30th anniversary of the collaboration between Adelphi Spirits Group and Charles Maclean. To honor Maclean’s three decades of contributions to Ardnamurchan Distillery, Adelphi has launched Maclean’s Nose Blended Scotch Whisky, combining his surname with sketches of local landmarks from the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. This release pays the highest tribute both to Charles Maclean and to the historic landmarks that have witnessed the millennium-long history of the peninsula.

Whisky godfather Charles Maclean shared the inspiration behind this release. Although he has devoted most of his life to studying single malts, all his friends know that a daily dram of blended whisky is an indispensable part of his routine.

Ardnamurchan Maclean’s Nose Blended Scotch Whisky is a distinctly island-style whisky, blending 80% malt whiskies with 20% grain whisky, matured in sherry casks to preserve its unique character.

Its flavor combines toffee, green apple, and sherry cask aromas, with a sweet palate layered with dark chocolate, coffee, and smoke. The finish is long, balanced, and enriched with notes of apple and honey.
