2024 Tamber Bey Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, LamBentz Vineyard

This wine was aged in a combination of stainless-steel vats, French oak barrels, and Acacia barrels to enhance the elegance of the Sauvignon Blanc fruit and bring a unique character feeling and texture to the palate.

Our LamBentz vineyard-designate Sauvignon Blanc is a rich and elegant expression of this world-class grape variety. On the nose, the wine is perfumed with notes of white peach, tangerine, passionfruit and orange blossom. A zingy natural acidity is complemented by the wine’s sumptuous texture, the result of a 14% French oak barrel fermentation (4% new, 10% neutral), as well as the utilization of 4% Acacia barrel fermentation to enhance the wine’s floral flavors. Barrel-stirring added additional texture and dimension to the wine, which was finished by blending in stainless steel vat one month prior to bottling to provide time for the disparate elements to marry.
