Wufeng Farmers’ Association Distillery is located in Wufeng District, Taichung City, a beautiful homeland blessed by Shennong, the Divine Farmer.
Through the revitalization and adaptive reuse of the former Wanfeng Granary, the site now features the Fragrant Rice Gallery, the Sake Cellar Brewing Area, Wanfeng Granary, and the A-Zhao-Wu Local Specialty Shop. It seamlessly integrates Taiwan’s fragrant rice culture with the refined art of sake, while preserving valuable rural cultural heritage, including the historic rice milling machine. The winery offers a distinctive journey of agricultural experience, cultural discovery, educational enrichment, and intellectual wine tasting.
As Taiwan’s first aesthetic sake brewery, it carries forward the Japanese toji spirit of wholehearted devotion to the craft of brewing. Using specially cultivated Yihchuan fragrant rice from Wufeng and pristine, sweet mountain spring water from Puli, it crafts a legendary Taiwanese sake.
